StatSquad STEAM Program is an, athletic-based program that provides learning opportunities and hands-on experience for high school students in the areas of information technology, digital media and data analytics. The StatSquad curriculum was developed in a partnership between NAS and renown statistician Tim Chartier, associate professor of mathematics and computer science at Davidson College.
STEAM education is at the forefront of national discussion with a need to introduce relevant, interesting and synchronized concepts to introduce these skills. Our program ties learning STEAM skills to sports, and inspires learning through the catalyst of sports.
